Kali's belly isn't as bad as it was but it is still distended and a lil hard. The doctors did a comparison set of xrays and it appears that it has come down a bit. For now she is able to be at home, just have to watch it and her. She still isn't eating great but she is trying. She'll drink a lil of the pedialite and other fluids. The Docs didn't give her anything to take they want to see if her own lil system will work it out shes to go and she the doctor on Fri. If anything changes before then for the worse than its back to the emerg room. Thanks to everyone who phoned and left messages.

Its such a helpless feeling to watch your child in discomfort and not be able to FIX it!

Auntie Kim heres a picture for you she loved the idea of making a happy face on her belly......... shes showing it off to who ever will look!!

It will get better. It's hard to watch. Last year when Josey went through this, the first xray showed "something" that wasn't supposed to be in his bowel. It was scary. We had to wait a week for another xray and it wasn't there!(thank God!! The doctor thinks perhaps it was a chicken cartilage!)
The little mottsensations apricot cups are good. Stay away from bananas and apple juice. Water is great. Sprinkle bran buds on oatmeal....
    Cute pics.
Give her a big hug from us!!

We were relieved to hear that whatever it is, it's moving. Now for Ms. K to get feeling back to herself and for Mommy and Daddy to get some much needed rest.

Keeping you all close in thoughts and prayers.

    Hi Shari,
Torey has had alot of tummy issues as well in the last little bit we have it narrowed down to lactose intolerance and she is definatley feeling better since we cut out dairy we know when she has had it cuz her tummy gets really big and hard and she doesn't go to the bathroom. She gets really bad pains in her tummy at one point they were so bad they were thinking it could be her appendix. So a couple trips to the er and 3 fleet enemas (horrible) we were home. Hope your princess is feeling better soon.
