I sorta fell off the trend of meal planning but really missed it... holidays and all that stuff but I meal planned last week and again for this week. It is sooooo much easier if you take the time to do it. Just wish Doug would give a bit more input on what he'd like to see on the menu.
I have decided not to put meals with the days of the week instead I plan 6 or 7 meals and what I feel like in the morning or the nite before is what we have.
So heres our meals for the week
Lazy mans Cabbage roll casserole
Cape cod sauce with chicken and Pasta ( had the clam version last week it was sooooooooo good that Doug said you could make it with chicken and Kali made a piggy of herself she liked it soo much)with garlic buns
BBQ burgers with fries and salad
Honey Mustard pork chops with baked potatoes and carrots
Beef stew and buns
Garlic roasted chicken with smashed potatoes and cauliflower/ cheese sauce

so there you have it.... nothing mouthwatering but still healthy and hearty

    Please, please, please post the sauce that was on Kali's dinner the other was YUMMY!!

    The honey mustard pork sounds unique...what's on that?

    Umm, btw, Kali invited Auntie and Uncle over for dinner every night this week ;-)
