So everyone knows I LOVE TO RENOVATE!!!! While I was off on my two week vacation I set in motion a plan of attack to complete a few things on my EVER GROWING TO GET DONE LIST!!! I was able to successfully convince Duggie to cut out the floor boards and re wire the down stairs lights to recessed pot lights!!! LOOKS FABULOUS!!! We just have a few touch up spots on the ceiling to take care of. We put in 6 little 3 7/8 inch pot lights 5 in the hallway (4 in the wide section and 1 outside our closet and 1 inside the hall closet!!) You don’t know how excited I am over this!!!! Doug keeps saying “ENOUGH already Shari about the damn lights…..there just lights!” MEN… they just understand how important the lil things are!!! Anyway the upstairs laminate we installed we have our bedroom still to do and all the trim work and painting of doors. But what a difference. TO BOOT our hot water tank blew the day before we were leaving too so we had to get that done too. I had no part in helping with that!! I was too busying screwing the floor upstairs so it won’t creek anymore. Which is a huge beef with me you’d think they would pass a home building law that states glue and screwing are mandatory nails just give way after time. So the second week We went to PG…..we had a list of stuff to get at home depot (I COULD SPEND HOURS IN THERE) anyway we bought a new ceiling fan for our living room, we needed some electrical stuff and most exciting I was able to get my kitchen design started.

But anyway back to my title……the boys at work were asking me what we all did. I had just got off the phone with Duggie and he was changing all of the old style toggle switches to the new square looking face plates anyhow he needed me to pick up one for him after work.

This was my convo with two male workers when a third walked into the discussion already in suit.
Me “where do you think I can find a 4 way in town?”
Coworker “You sure you need a 4 way not a 3 way?’
Me “ Yeah …no we’ve lots of three ways they didn’t work….we definitely need a 4 way”
Other coworker” GOOD LUCK finding a 4 way HERE!!”
Eddie walks in on convo ……” What Dougie wants a 4 way…….?”
Then we all laugh and I said “Actually Dougie wanted a 3 way originally I wanted the 4 way but he told me no!”
Eddies MOUTH falls…..then I explain to me that we’re talking about light switches!!!!

For all the women reading this who have no clue about what I am saying I will clarify it very simply and you can AWE your mates!

a light with one switch ….most common

a light with two light switches if replacing you’d need a three way switch….basically it allows you to turn on and off your lights from either switch( there is no one on and off position either way could do it). ……if you have two switches to a light and it doesn’t work properly it is most likely because you have the single switch installed when you should have a 3 way. Most houses have some

then if you have a light and three switches you need one 4 way and two 3ways to have all switches turn on and off at any one point…..not very common and a 4 way switch can cost as much as $35 buckaroos…yes thats for JUST A LIGHT SWITCH!! Not that common in homes….BUT OURS HAS ONE!!

I have to give “SNAPS” to Duggie cuz he is such an amazing trouble shooter…..He thinks outside of the box and hes able to figure stuff out with ease…. It would of taken me at least 5 different tries before I thought to reinstall the old switch to see if it was the new switch or something else.!!

Just a quick post to say we are home from our trip to PG. It wasn't long enough or relaxing enough but it was great to get out of town, hook up with Family ( Nana and Papa met us and Dougs Auntie, Uncle and some cousins live there too) ohhhhhhhh and we mustn't forget spend TOO MUCH $$$$$$$$$$. Doug and PT had their birthdays there. My lil Parker in ONE now..... my goodness its all flying by. Hes such a different child compared to my KJ. He is going to be a HAND FULL!!!! He is pulling himself up onto everything, his fav is standing up pushing himself off of whatever hes pulled himself up by and falling to his bum and laughing!! Its sooo DAMN CUTE!!
Dougie got a compliment on his BDAY..... THIS WAS FUNNY!!!!!!
He and I are in Sears hes pushing Parker in the STROLLER and I'm slowly walking with Kali about 20 ft behind him. This GROUP of TWINKIES ( 12-14 year olds) see him and I over hear one of them say " OH MY GOD... Did you see that guy...he is sooooooooooo HOT!!" ......Insert massive laughter here!! So of course I need to embarrass my hunny further by repeating the story to him in front of the sales clerks who get a good lil chuckle out of it too. My HOT guy.... wouldn't trade him. Love him to bits!!

I do have pictures to post too but theres still the after mass of getting home and cleaning up, putting stuff away, dinner, nites tonite.....the list is endless!!

I didn't get to hear it but Dougie said he and Kali were out yesterday and she was playing on her bike honking the horn...then she runs up to him and yells " Daddie , Daddie I'm Horny" ...thank God no one was in ear shot!! lol

So Kali is potty trained has been for awhile...she has a bladder of a small camel so I try to stick her on when its been awhile and sometimes shes ok with that and sometimes she isn't.....but mostly she just asks to go tinkle!
So today she said she had to tinkle so I told her to go to daddie....she did. Doug put her in the bathroom and she started sniffing and sniffing he put her on the potty and as she sniffed she said "pheeewwy dad dee smells like poop in here!" and she pinched her nose. Doug came out laughing... did I forget to mention he had just come out of the bathroom himself!! lol

I am sooooooooo thankful for the friends in my life. They LOVE my kids like they are their own. I couldn't ask for better friends. Auntie and Uncle took my kidlets this weekend while Duggie and I worked graveyards. Thank you soooooooo MUCH!! I know how much of a HANDFULL they are!!LOL!! Friday nite ….thou RUSHED!!!! Was a very good get out and do something kind of nite. Both Dougie and I were day shift. So we had to run home he got the kids from Trudi’s. I picked up our babysitter Taylor after work, RAN home showered, dressed, did hair, (best I could), did make up, (best I could), gave Taylor run down on Kidlets routine….(been awhile since shes sat for us). Prepared baby bottles, got our tickets for the show ready so I wouldn’t forget em, pre ordered our dinner so we’d eat with our friends and not be late to the show. Left phone numbers incase of emergency, and showed her where all stuff is. (insert ADRENALINE RUSH)
PHEEEEEWWWWW……Made it in time to enjoy said meal with friends (Penny, Laura, Adam and Colton) Then we all went to the MET ( Mt Elizabeth Theatre) for a packed performance of “Outerbridge.....Magical moments in time” Its this guy, Ted Outerbridge …… and his wife, Marion…. Who do a magic/illusionist show. It was pretty good I quite enjoyed it….and of course we all were trying to wrap our brains around how he did certain things. Most of it was pretty cool. The cheesy dancing in the beginning of the performance had me trying not to laugh but by the end of the show you were use to it…..Also to boot they had an equipment malfunction so his Grand entrance was not as grand as it was suppose to be. But it was entertaining. It was just really nice to get out with friends enjoy the evening kid free. (thou truth be told I was thinking “I think Kali would of enjoyed this!” Then second thought nay she’s too young) Afterwards I wanted to go out maybe play some pool have a couple of drinks….but my old fuddie duddie Duggie didn’t think to highly of that suggestion. So instead we went to Lauras and Adams had some appys and just good ole chatting with drinks ofcourse. It was great and something MR MAN and I need to do more often.
I think the funniest part of the evening was when Adam said to Doug “ HEY speaking of boobies did you see the RACK on our waitress?” Doug with blank stare say “NOTHING COMPARES TO THE RACK I”VE GOT…..can’t say I noticed em!”……guess he only does have EYES for me!! LOL ……on the topic I don’t know if I ever told you’s what he joked about me at work!!
Awhile ago when he first went back to work off of parental leave some guy he works with said to him. “ Wow Dougie I saw Shari in Terrace the other day and holy her boobs are huge from having babies” Doug nonchalantly replies “ Yeah I know shes banned from entering any foreign countries on the grounds of being dangerous!” the guy looks and Doug and says “Really why?” Doug answers “ Well she is packing around 2 SCUD MISSILES!!” hope you all have a great weekend!! I’m stuck working….but I’m on VA-K next tour. YIPPIE!!!

I swear I sneezed and 9 months flew by.........I don't feel like I'm in control of my time, life is whizzing away and its dragging me along for the ride whether I am ready or not!!!!
I still have Christmas photos to upload,my son now has 3 teeth and is doing the funky chicken crawl, Kali has turned into 1/2 parrot and 1/2 sponge. She is grasping and understanding soooooooooo much. WHERES my BABY??? I'm back at work and its almost like I never left!!

A HUGE thank you to MOM2 for coming up to this snow infested town she soooooo loves!!! to care for day in and out for three weeks my lil munchkins so I could focus on doing my OFA3. We felt for her cuz she was stuck inside with no wheels and no way of getting around.....I think a bit of cabin fever set in along with how do I talk to an adult again? My MIL lives on the Island and is normally running around from this place to that and shopping...well there was none of that here!!! So PAPA you should be thanking us we think we saved you all that after Christmas sales!!! even thou you had to live on frozen pizza and take out!! But seriously THANKS NANA....it meant a ton!!!

I came home after class and sat down at the super table with Kali, Parker and Nana. "Kali did you have fun today? What did you do?" Kali say "YEAH.... NANA TOOTED!!!!" I laugh and look over to a red faced laughing Nana who say "I can't get away with anything anymore!!"

Kali and I are changing PT's diaper. Kali says "Parkers Penis" I say "yes thats Parkers penis"
Kali looks down at herself and says" Kalis penis too?" "No hunny Kali doesn't have a penis, only boys do" Kali gets a mad face and restates "KALI HAS A PENIS TOO!" again I laugh and say "No hunny you have a vagina, Parker has a penis" Kali "OH Parker has a penis, Kali has a ina"

My first day back to work I had to hang my first aid certificate up on the wall in the first aid room...now normally I do not swear all that much. Thinking I was alone I was having a frustrating time getting my frame to stay on the wall I said " every things going for a shit!" Behind me I hear a voice say " first day back at work and you are already swearing!!" I turn around to see my Dougie standing there!!! ooppps.......my hunny has only ever sworn in front of me maybe 5 times in 11 years!!! of all the people to be behind me!!!

My second day at work I was in the lunch room eating my lunch I went to eat my banana and found a message Duggie wrote on the side of it! " I LOVE YOU XOXOX" My girlfriend T was with me and we had a lil chuckle. ( I love it when he does the lil things that make me laugh and smile....one time I went to eat my lunch and he had taken one bit out of everything in my lunch kit, my sandwhich, my carrots, my cookies...etc...me makes me laugh).......anyway everyone at work wants to know if I'm going to have anymore children......by me being gone it means a move up for some and a full time job for others so with T standing by my side I blurted out " No... No more children no matter how many I LOVE YOU bananas I get" ......maybe you had to be there but it was funny to us!

Trudi our nanny is working out amazing the kids love her....and so do I its almost like Nana never left. She does the kids laundry, cleans up abit and if I forget to do something I just gotta call home and ask her to take out the meatsauce from the freezer that I forgot to do before I left for work!!! Its soooooo nice not having to get the kids up in the morning, Trudi just comes over and waits for em to wake up. Less stress on me and them.

Tonite should be interesting its my first 12 hour night shift in over two years.....do we have any bets on what time I'll make it to before I crash!!!

Its just CRAZY how fast time is flying by!! Really I don't know where it goes!!! I have sooooooooo much to do, no time to do it and Kids to take care of. Our household is full of snotter daughter girl and boogie boy big and small! I'm battling a very sore throat and can MOM's afford to have a SICK day!! I swear my house looks like a tornado swept threw here and uplifted and dropped stuff everywhere!! My vacuum header belt smoked its self off sooooooooooo I have been vacuumless for like 4 or 5 days and its driving me crazy.....seeing all the floating tumble weed dog drifting hair around as well as just in general everyday dirt!!! I want to start getting Christmas things out and about but feel like I need to tackle soooooooooo many areas in my house I don't know where to start!! This is the time I wished we owned a house with a basement to CRAM all the things away I don't want to properly deal with right now!!
I should also be reading over my first aid stuff and haven't given that the attention it deserves. I did however start some of my Christmas cards....of course it was all the easy ones of people around town that I just have to sign our names on and give a lil blurb "Have a Great 2008!!"
Still need to do my Xmas letter, buy gifts to send away, wrap and attempt to get my parcels sent out sometime with in this next week!!
still haven't booked an appointment for a new family photo.
Dougs been working like crazy two day shifts 4 nite shifts 2 days off and back at'er. The nice thing is he does like his new job!!
I'm hating the fact that I have to go back in Jan...... Boy do I hope I have the winning lotto ticket in my pocket. Have had two people contact me about the nanny job....one is a no and the other one we have to interview....I don't like that shes a smoker....but her previous employer said her kids never knew she smoked and they never saw her do it. Thats one major concern of mine. I don't want my child to mimic the smoking thing or to smell of smoke....I just can't handle it. So we need to discuss it. But at least someone called!! I guess the other thing is to figure out what kind of a wage do you pay them? This is where it would be nice to have more girlfriends with kids!!
On another note I am loving both my photography class and my Bootcamp class. This past Saturday's Bootcamp was sooooo far the hardest one and it left me wanting more!! Monique is just awesome at what she does and its nice cuz every class is different we have yet to do the same thing twice. The photo class is great too I am learning alot about settings and stuff on my camera...Hope I can retain all of this info.
Completely off subject and in left field....has anyone ever wondered how such a small child can have such an humongous poop!! No really she had a poop that was as long as she is tall!!! I actually considered taking a picture of it!! It was that big!! I know gross topic...but really wear do they keep it?
Today she was soooo funny its the first time shes come into the kitchen and asked for a pickle....I thought what made her think about pickles? Don't you think a childs mind is fascinating? Where do they come up with half the stuff they come up with!!
Then in the afternoon I thought gee its been awhile I better put Kali on the potty.....I walk into my living room to find a naked child on my couch wearing a pair of orange socks......she had white ones on in the morning! I go to get her clothes, well she had an accident and used her clothes to clean up the tinkle on the floor and just put on new socks. I guess she thought I wouldn't notice.
Yesterday morning we're getting Kali dressed and I put her shirt on and tell her to put her arms in the holes....shes struggling to find the holes and pushing her lil arms sooooooooo hard that she farted!! It was soooo funny her lil face was like "ooppps" and then in only a cute lil kiddie voice " I tooted" and she started to laugh and said "cuuse me" Know if I was struggling soooo hard at something and farted would it be as cute??? I think not!!
Parker is growing like a weed still.....he now is trying to lift his butt up in the air to try and crawl....its soooo cute hes big milk jug six pack is still on the floor and his lil butt is trying to get air..... He has recently discovered his voice too.....hes always babbled but now hes figured out how to cry!! I was hoping to avoid that stage....he hasn't done it alot yet but has figured out that one of us will come to him quicker if he whines or cries. Well there you have it once again I SHOULD BE doing sooooooooooo many other things but felt the need to share in our crazy lil life!

and just for some crazy fun trivia do you know how many eyelids does a bird have on each eye?......come on leave me a guess!

Well yesterday was one BUSY day Kali had gymnastics in the morning and Doug was day shift so I had pack Parker up drop him off at Babas run to gymnastics for an hour drive to the village and drop off Kali at Syds house for a play date run back out to cablecar...EAT, put dishes away reload dishwasher run back into town for bootcamp, after an hour of butt kicking workout pick PT up drive to village pick up Kali and drive home only to find that Doug has beaten me there!! Was I really gone from 10:15am till 5:45pm!! WOW!! Still needed a shower! needless to say I was in bed by 8:30 pm reading first aid book till 10:30pm and I'm sure the last hour of that I didn't absorb a thing.
Kali has started to become such a lil copycat!!! She came home from Syds lastnite and we'd ask her to do something and she'd say "No Hun Knee"in the course of a few hours she'd said it at least a dozen times!! It was pretty funny...

So this morning I put her on the potty and she said the same thing " No Hun Knee" so I phoned Auntie Shelley and said...." Alright who was calling Kali HUNNY!!" She laughed and asked "why?" I explained to her and she said Kali was saying that all day yesterday so she thought I called her Hunny. Now I'm not sure!! I do call her hunny occasionally ......Its got to be Auntie Penny!! Auntie Penny is it you!! do you say " No Hun Knee" Where ever she got it from its pretty cute!

Alright ...in the two little years of Kalis life I have yet to be REALLY upset or frustrated.....And then there was yesterday!! Miss KJ fell asleep in the vehicle on the way home from grocery shopping so I decided to put her in Parkers play pen to sleep. ( Shes in BIG GIRL PANTIES now...soooo I didn't want any accidents on my couch cushions or on her bedding....I had ENOUGH to do!) Normally when she falls asleep shes OUT for at least an hour!! PT was playing contently in his exersaucer and I went into the Kitchen to unpack the grocery bags!! NOT EVEN 10 mins later I could hear talking...Well PT doesn't TALK YET! So I enter my living room to find my daughter on the change station of the playpen covered in VICKS........AND I MEAN COVERED!!!!!! I was devastated...her brand new faux rawhide jacket with pink fuzzys shinny from all the vicks she had on it!! She had the biggest SMILE on her face!! SHE knew...she knew she wasn't suppose to be playing with the VICKS...it was more a SMUG SMILE...a smile of ecstaticness of pure defiance...... Not only was she covered in the stuff, the playpen, all of Parkers blankets and toys from the playpen, the wall, the flooring we have stacked behind there......I'm not sure if she was trying to get in to the wipes container to clean up or if she just liked the feeling of gooping the VICKS on the plastic!! BUT IT WAS COVERED!!!!!!!!!! I swear Kali entered STEALTH MODE for her 10 mins of pure VICKS BLISS!!!! Like I didn't have enough to do NOW I have to clean VICKS UP!!!!! URG!! Anyone want a 2 year old?? I will say by the time I wiped down and cleaned everything off my nose wasn't as stuffy anymore..I was breathing a little easier!! The sad thing is I had just spoke to my MIL the day before about Doug and his siblings. Apparently Dougs litte brother was an easy baby to care for but was INTO EVERYTHING when he was older....example...MIL would come downstairs to find Kevin PAINTING THE WALLS WITH PEANUT BUTTER!!!! before I hung up with her I said HOPE I DON"T HAVE ONE OF THOSE KINDS OF KIDS!!!!....Next time Note to self KNOCK ON WOOD after stating something like that!!!!

Last week sometime while Miss KJ was on the potty I showed her her toe jam! She found this to be quite interesting and of course had to clean it!! Tonite I put Parker in Kalis bed while I put the laundry away.... Kali climbed in and was hanging out with him. All of a sudden I hear " Mummie TOE JAM!" I turned around to find Kali inspecting Parkers toes and pulling out all of his toe jam. " Parker, Yuck!...TOE JAM!" I found this very FUNNY!! maybe its cuz I'm tired I don't know but I was belly laughing!!

Okay where to start!! They are growing like WEEDS!!!!!!Good, pretty weeds...sometimes!
So we are doing okay on the Kali potty training...shes not feeling great so shes had a couple of accidents the last couple of days. I swear Kali has been SNOT'TER DAUGHTER since birth!! Parker is just starting to get it so he is now BOOG'ER BOY!!
As you know we are potty training...Kali isn't one to carry dolls around she plays more with her lacrosse stick than she does anything else. But I saw her carrying her doll so I followed her....She brought her to the bathroom to put her on the potty. I thought maybe Kali had to tinkle so I asked her.
KJ " NO, Mummie. Dolly potty!" so she sticks the potty seat on the toilet puts her doll on it and walks out and leaves her there. I had to make sure "DOLLY" didn't go potting diving...but she was fine about 5 mins later Kali comes in picks up her dolly and hugs and kisses it and say "good girl"...It was soooooooooo cute!!
Ever since Miss KJ was lil I have made her help with clean up time...in doing so I may have created a MONSTER!!! She is obsessed with HELPING!!! It doesn't matter what it is I'm doing she is right there copying me. She wants to hold the dust pan and we carry the dirt to the garbage. any loose debris on the floor she picks it up and puts it into the can. Dirty clothes she'll bring to the hamper upstairs or the laundry room downstairs, She wants to help unload the dish washer, she even will take the clothes out of the dryer for you. She knows to put her books on the bookshelf, her lil people in the basket.....am I creating a NEUROTIC CHILD!!
The other day I emptied out my freezer to see what all was in it and to reorganize it. Well she came in and saw all the stuff on the floor and said " MUMMIE!! Clean up!...Kali Help!" and off she started carting stuff to the garbage!! I had to laugh. She was sooo serious in her voice.
I know if PT spits up cuz she'll come into the kitchen and say" EWWWE PAC'KER Yuckies, clean up"
Last week she asked for a glass of water so I gave her one.....about 10 mins later she comes into the kitchen walks over to the stove takes the tee towel and heads out, not saying a word...I follow and she is on her knees cleaning up spilt water reciting "Kali clean up now"
Penny and I went to dinner last nite and Parker or "PAC'KER" as Kali calls him was chewing on his shoe and got some of his cereal on it....well she spotted it and was trying to get out of her seat to "Clean PAC'KER's shoe now!"
I don't know if its just the stage she is in now but she has started to SUCK HER THUMB!!!! She shes Parker doing it and then she copy's him. She was never a soother baby and only sucked her fingers for a short time.....Doug and I keep telling her not to but she still tries. Is it a two year old thing or what??? Its driving us nutz!
She has also started to whine.....not all the time(THANK GOD) but enough that its driving me crazy with the whine or tears for nothing. She doesn't want me to help her with ANYTHING its met with "KALI DO MUMMIE" plus she does the hand in your face....like talk to the hand pose only she says "STOP MUMMIE" Its funny at times....but when it goes on and on I feel like I could LOOSE IT!!!!! She now will lie down on the floor and hide her head...no kicking and screaming ( YET AND LETS HOPE THAT DOESN'T COME), just puts her head down then a few minutes look up to see if you are looking at her. Then she gets up and does whatever like it didn't happen!! And after you have pulled all your hair out you sit there and shake your head in disbelief and have to smile. ( well most times...)
Parker is such a good boy...Kali was a good baby but he is unreal!! He LAUGHS and BELLY LAUGHS way more then Kali did. Kali was sorta serious looking...not PT he has nothing but smiles and giggles. But he is one chicken...Kali didn't budge around skill saws, drills, chain saw you name it, it never fazed her....Parker you shut the shower door and hes scared! He jumps really easily!! Its sooooooo bizarre how two children can be soooo alike and different at the same time. Kali NEVER played with her feet. Parker can't get enough of his own toe jam!! I have to say its really cute seeing him gnaw on his feet!! anyway its late I'm soooooooooo tired. and its really later cuz of time change so off to bed I must go! Storey time at the library with kidlets in the AM. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods!

Well the Red Sox are now up three games....there was a lil bit of excitement tonite!! I'd like to see some more ball but with the RS pitcher tomorrow nite it could very well be over for Colorado!!
As I watched the game tonite during the excitement of a come back I found it funny to look out in the crowds of people doing all they could to HELP their team!! crossing their fingers, wearing their ball caps instead out RALLY Style, Chanting , hiding their faces!! It brought me back to my ball days on "THE NEVER WILL BEES" though at times we should of been called "SWISS CHEESE" Anyway we as a team finally started to gel and started winning.....this guy on our team Scottie would not shower, shave, change his clothes or socks or whatever he was wearing if we were on a winning streak. He was sooooooo SUPERSTITIOUS!!! But at times we kept winning....did it work or was it the pugnent order drifting across the Field knocking out the other players one by one!! Let me tell you when we finally lost it was sooooooo nice to see him shower, shave and change his shorts!! Then the process started all over again. Funny I'm knocking him for this yet I believe if you kill a bird or it hits your house window and dies someones gonna get it!!
In his defense I have to say I have a RITUAL for batting.....I always put one foot in the batters box and dig a lil spot with my foot, settle in, assume the swing pose, eye the field up....stare down the first pitch but never swing at it...to settle myself in there and then GAME ON!!! And with volleyball when serving I always bounce three times and twirl the ball then serve....but noone knew that till NOW!!lol

Sooooo Kali is doing really well with the whole potty training thing!!! YEAH!!! I just wish she could pull off and on her own pants and maybe get on and off the toilet on her own!! I know in due time she is ONLY two!! But shes been doing soooooo well she has not had a poop in her pants for over a week. She had her first accident in her big girl panties today!! and the look on her face i don't think she pee in them again anytime soon!! The best part is how proud she is of herself when she tinkles or poops on the potty!! The whole world has to hear about it!! She runs outta the bathroom and yells "I TINKLED!!!" its soooo cute. anyway just a quick post both kidlets are in bed and my MAN and I wanna watch a movie and cuddle up. (Well maybe he wants to watch the movie and I wanna cuddle up!!)

Laura, Penny and I embarked on an adventure lastnite Something I have never done before!!! As we entered the building I was in AWE it was nothing what I thought it was going to be like!! It was clean and open and very nice, I let Pen take the lead...I'd never done it so didn't know what to do or how to ask for it so I JUST watched her first. Then it was my turn I was nervous, my body tightened, I didn't know what to do or say so I just blurted out to the guy " I'm a BINGO VIRGIN!!!" and he laughed trying to make me feel at ease, he set me up on the computer and I bought cards you have to dab as well...I was all set...sorta....till we sat down!! We entered late..apparently not the thing to do..you need time to set up all your stuff and get situated so I was frazzled from the get go. I HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS IN FOR!!! Theres an instruction sheet for the night to follow ....its very, very helpful!! if you have a basic knowledge of BINGO!! Thank GOD Penny and Laura did!! So there we sat dabbers in hand awaiting numbers!! Its going so fast and we started late so poor Pen was trying to help me out in between numbers being called to show me where I could see the next number to be called....so I could try and stay ahead of the game...finally I settled into a nice lil pace....Pen kept updating my computer for me until I was capable of doing that myself and dabbing. As it was a had a full line and didn't know it till someone else called BINGO!! but I did win almost two dollars!! YEAH FOR ME!! Laura won 10 bucks and Pen 15.....The funniest thing was Penny leans over and says to me "I knew I should of brought a GLUE STICK!!!" I laughed so hard.....apparently it holds the sheets all together nicely so you can dab better. At the end of the night after I stood up my back was sooooo sore and tense from dabbing and the stress of it all!! This is suppose to be fun and relaxing?? So after bingo we went to the Northern for a drink or two...watching people is sheer entertainment!!! is it me or are the 19 year olds looking 12!!! I don't think I looked that young...but then again I still think and feel like I'm in my twenties...and of course I HAVEN"T AGED ABIT!!! So I told Laura and Pen I had fun and I would do it again sometime!!...actually I said" So I may have lost my bingo cherry but I still don't know what I'm doing!!"



So this morning I take my purple dabber out of my purse and show Doug he laughs and says"I bet the company who makes those things purposely shape them that way so it will remind woman of SOMETHING ELSE and you'll want one in every color!!!" LOL the funny thing is when Pen and I bought them lastnite... we were thinking that very thing!!

K... we are back!! not sure if anyone even bothers to check in here anymore its been sooooooooooo long since I posted!! Sorry about that... busy life of a mom.... or at least thats my excuse anyways!!

So Parker is doing AMAZING!!!!! I thought I had it good when Kali was a baby she slept all nite at three months. PT has been sleeping through since he was two and a half weeks. EVERY NIGHT!!! Knocking on wood right now so I don't jinx myself!! Hes soooooo smiley and happy and the big blue eyes melt me every time I look at him!! Kali is sooooooooooo proud to be a sister. she'll just walk up to him for no reason and lay a big wet one on him and I mean WET ONE!! She now says PAAA KER sit and taps between her legs for her to hold him. its super cute. Just the way she says PAA KER is cute too its quite BOSTONIAN like. Reminds me of my youth and my dad and my gal pals from there.

So we bought a new to us truck ...... the pre story is tooooooo long so lets just say we bought one returned it and bought a different one. Its a 2005 Blue Harley Davidson F350..... ITS BEAUTIFUL!! only had 9000 clicks on it and for a diesel thats nothing!! theres not even a scratch on it, has original mats and liner and all. Doug really wanted a Black one.... and well me too but once I saw this blue one I really liked it. Plus Dougie said its 2005 for Kali's birth year and Blue for Parkers eyes..... loved it even more. So naturally we visited Dugs parents on the island for a bit and PT made his rounds of meeting the WHOLE family!!! it was good. Short but BUSY!!!

Our nieces got to see PT for the first time and they were all fighting over who got to sit and hold him. Gracie 6 and Keyanna 7 helped me change Parkers diaper... the conversation went something like this G. " Wow I've NEVER seen a penis like this one before!!" K. " Yeah me either!"... I had to hold back my laughter they were so serious and business like.... it was if they had seen a hundred and were PENIS cone suers!!! We all got a good laugh at it.

Speaking of penises. Have any of you ever heard of a GOOEY DUCK?????? Well in all my UNEXPERIENCED , NAIVE life I have never, ever seen such a thing.... unless of course it was suppose to be a penis!! I've laughed a Horses with hard ons and Rats with their massive balls...... but never have I seen the likes of a GOOEY DUCK......Ironically its a CLAM with a NECK.....which to me looks like a clam with a PENIS!!!! let me know what you think I'll post some pictures!!!........ I know you may think its a doctored photo I assure you ladies its the REAL THING!!! Or should I say THINGY!! Dougie dug one up for us to see...... its neck shrunk up a bit but all I gotta say is thats one LUCKY CLAM!!!! LOL


Short but sweet post its gonna take forever to find all the pictures ......so in no particular order here goes!!

Parker is doing awesome.........hes 4 1/2 inches longer than Kali was at this age and hes 1 pound heavier. Hes been sleeping through the night for about 2 1/2 weeks he goes down anywhere from 10-11pm and sleeps till 7:50am everyday!!! I thought Kali was good!!! PT is amazing.....but then again he is male and comes by sleeping quite naturally!!!

We bought a new truck for my hunny!!! I kept putting it off......but we finally did it!!! Doug took Kali to Vancouver to go pick it up!!! He amazes me!!! I love him even more!! I was sooooo shocked when he said he was gonna take her with him!! its her first flight, having to spend all day in a car dealership, shes just entering that testing stage, teething, not to mention a 14 hour drive home!!! I said "ARE YOU SURE?????"...without hesitation he said "YEAH why wouldn't I?" so I have a few days to enjoy bubble baths and free time to do nothing or destroy something before he gets back home!!!

my other friend say she keeps a pair of "DREAM JEANS" in her closet hoping she'll ONE DAY get back in them....or just to amaze herself that at one time she was in them ( I have LOTS of Dream jeans.....and I think..... I wish I was back in them..... at the time I was in them I thought I was fat ....so what would I of thought of myself if I had a glimpse of me now, back then.....wonder if I would of laid off on all that cheese cake these past years!!)

I had my hair cut... I came home to show it off to Doug.....I bounced around him flipping my NEW hair ....he says "WHAT" I say " don't you notice my new hair cut and color?" he says "ITS THE SAME" .......MEN, I think...."Don't you check me out anymore? Or now that I've given you two children you don't look anymore or what?????" his answer" HONESTLY SHARI I CAN"T GET PAST LOOKING AT YOUR CHEST!!!!"....apparently it distracts him!!!......Now thats a TYPICAL MAN!!

So After talking weight with friends and looking in the mirror and being saddened I have to start to DO instead of BITCH!!! my goal is to drop down to 145-150..... I've got at least 50 pounds to go!!!..........so now that I've written it and put it out there....and will be held accountable for it...the time is NOW...I'm not getting any younger or skinnier!!!!!!! so its time to move my ass!!! or should I say LOOSE IT....well actually, I don't have much of an ass but I have a HUGE MUFFIN TOP!!!! So.....here goes I am gonna start to DO.......wish me luck!!

So as you all know I'm home haven't had much time to blog, trying to heal, adjust to having two, still make time for Kali and feeding feeding feeding!! lets just say the public health nurse came the other day to see how Parker was doing and if hes gained weight...yadda yadda yadda "well" she says" I guess I won't have to book an appointment with you till sometime next week...hes surpassed his birth weight and that usually takes a couple of weeks...so I guess hes feeding good!!" I thought to myself " have you had a look at my Knockers!!.... I got enough knocker juice in here to feed a small country of babies!!"
Anyway why I wanted to do a quick post.....
Doug this morning got up and got Kali outta bed and put her on the potty.....even thou she still is pretty young we've been trying to train her and she gets it but she doesn't talk too much yet so its been a hit or a miss!! but she gives you a clue by grabbing her pants. This morning she grabs her pants and says in such a cute lil Kali voice with her head caulked to one side " POOP POOP!" so Dug puts her on the potty...( normally mommie has to sit with her from 1 minute to 20 minutes before something happens) but in sign she says to her dad all done!! so he takes her off the potty gos to her room gets a diaper comes back to the bathroom and she says"POOP POOP!" as he looks on the bathroom carpet and sees a nice sized log embedded in the white shag bathmat!! he laughed but kept saying..."SHE KNOWS, SHE KNOWS!!" I will try to get some blogging done...But finding a moment to myself is few and far between!!!

So my inlaws have arrived safe and sound and Kali is over the moon to be able to perform for a new audience. And let me tell you she is doing everything she can to entertain them and make them laugh!!!!
Doug came home from his graveyard shift this morning and we chatted in bed and caught up on his night....I was awake which I normally am NOT!!! but it was nice to have that morning cuddle time....I said to him "I'm gonna make a doctors appointment today and maybe I'll ask the doctor about inducing me?" He said "why?" I said "well I want the baby to come while your parents are here visiting so they have time with him before they have to head back home" Doug says" You know sometimes its not good to eat raw turkey!!" I say " What the hell does that have to do with anything?" He says " Maybe he has to stay in there and cook a little longer!!" I laughed

Meanwhile at my appointment Dr.B said I have at least another week!!! I just sooooo hope he comes while Dougs Parents are still here. So I'm thinking I should take up jogging for a few days!!! Any suggestions?? Jenny yours didn't work!!! got any other bright ideas???

So here is a picture of PT's going home outfit.....can you believe its soooooooooo close!! This pregnancy flew by!!! Its unreal how fast it went!! When I was pregnant with Kali I got soooooooo much done and organized and this one...I keep thinking I have time and I don't!! I need to pack my bag, Pack Kali a bag and get new baby diapers and all that stuff!! Plus we still haven't done or even started PT's room!! I need to my my arse!! and get in motion!!

So for our first ultra sound we have this nice little picture of PT kinda waving... for this last ultrasound all we have is a blown up version of our sons SCROTUM!!! Dougs all proud showing the picture of hes sons nutsack!! Look at the size of that thing!! We are preparing to see a little baby boy with ELEPHANTISIS NUTS!!! Especially cuz the technichion said he has some fluid build up in his scrotum!!! which is normal, and should go way after birth. I told Doug when we are feeling his diaper we gotta remember that half of it may be taken up with PT's massive PACKAGE!!! We can't mistake it for POOP!!

So I had to run into town quickly for milk and french bread for super..... So I do a quick tour of the store I had a list!! regular bread, milk, cookies for Dad and french bread. I saw a bucket of jelly beans and put them in my basket.. thought it odd cuz I had a dream about jelly beans. Then in the cookie aisle I saw chips on sale 3 bags for 6 bucks ...its something I very rarely buy but thought "Yeah I could eat some chips when we watch a movie" So there I am at the till unloading my basket with a guy behind me looking at me..... then I look down and see three Monster bags of chips, a big bucket of jelly beans, box of cookies and of course a skor chocolate bar for the ride home...oh yeah and milk and bread. I looked at the guy looking at me and at my stuff and I started to laugh!! "Can you tell I'm pregnant?" He just smiled and looked away.....he must be married with a wife that states similar things cuz he knew better than to touch on that subject!!
